Hassle-Free Camping in Imakane Town

Situated midway between Sapporo and Hakodate, Imakane Town in southern Hokkaido is a town blessed with rich nature and the Shiribeshi-Toshibetsu River, known as one of the clearest rivers in Japan. It is home to the Kur Plaza Pirika, a tourist facility with a camping ground where you can enjoy camping without the hassle of carrying and setting up equipment.
This program includes rental of a full set of camping equipment, including a tent, sleeping bags, chairs, and a hammock. It also includes a barbecue set that features Imakane Black Wagyu beef.
After checking-in at the camping ground, you will visit the nearby Imakane Ichigo House, where you can experience strawberry picking. You can eat the fragrant and juicy strawberries as is, or have it prepared as a strawberry parfait which you can enjoy as a dessert after dinner.
After enjoying the great outdoors, you can relax and freshen up in the hot spring bath of Kur Plaza Pirika. The facility also has a shop and staff on standby, so you can buy necessities or ask for help anytime you need it.
