In this online workshop, you can try making your very own linen caramel pouch. The instructor is Tomomi Onodera, owner of Sjunde himlen. Her atelier and shop is located in a forest in Memuro Town, and features a collection of original articles of clothing made from linen, cotton, and other natural fabrics.
The workshop includes a pouch-making kit that will be delivered to your home in advance. The kit includes linen cloths with two different colors of your choosing, and a base cloth with a color chosen by Onodera-san.
※Please indicate in the reservation form your preferred colors for the A side (choose from gray, green, royal blue, magenta, thistle) and B side (choose from pale green, ecru, mustard, gray-brown).
Under the instruction of Onodera-san, you will sew the linen pouch by hand. The pouch-making kit includes a needle and thread, so all you need to prepare is a pair of scissors.
After the workshop, there will be a Q&A session where you can learn about Onodera-san’s story and ideas behind her fashion work, and ask any questions you might have about her work and products.
