Toyokoro Town in eastern Tokachi is a place of rich nature and magnificent pastoral landscapes. In this cycling tour, you will go with a local cycling guide on a 40-kilometer course through the town’s nature and scenic sites, going through both paved and gravel roads (course can be adjusted according to your preferences). You can also enjoy lunch with soba noodles you make on your own while interacting with the locals.

After meeting up with the local cycling guide, you will choose your bike for the day (choose from a cross bike or an electrically-assisted mountain bike). The guide will make the necessary adjustments, and explain the cycling course as well as safety precautions.

Once you are all set, you will depart from the Toyokoro town center and head off to the pastures in the countryside. You can enjoy magnificent views from the top of a hill, and pass through forest roads with rich verdure that changes with the seasons. The course can be adjusted on the spot according to your condition and preferences.

After the fun cycling, you will visit a local community center where you can try making soba (buckwheat) noodles. You can enjoy it for lunch while interacting with the friendly locals.
