TOUR PROGRAMS

Endo Livestock Tour and Wagyu Pizza Lunch

Endo Livestock is a Wagyu cattle farm in Shihoro Town owned by Ryohei and Kyoko Endo. Kyoko, who also works as a livestock veterinarian, compiled the story of a certain Wagyu steer into a video and booklet titled “Aisare Wagyu” (Beloved Wagyu) in the hopes of making people realize the preciousness of life, even the lives of the animals we consume. In this tour program, you will visit Endo Livestock to learn about the Beloved Wagyu while experiencing work in a cattle barn. You can also try making pizza topped with the farm’s Wagyu beef.

Highlights

  • Visit a Wagyu cattle barn and experience brushing the cattle and other tasks
  • Learn about the story of the Beloved Wagyu to reflect on the value of life
  • Try making pizza topped with Wagyu beef and other local ingredients

After first wearing farm work overalls, you will learn about Endo Livestock’s Beloved Wagyu through a video (includes English subtitles). Reflect on the value of life through the story of a Japanese Black Wagyu steer who was loved and cared for by everyone in the farm.

Now it’s time to visit the cattle barn and meet their Wagyu cattle. You can try brushing the cattle and help with other tasks in the barn. You will be impressed at the size of the adult cattle and their gentle demeanor.

Lastly, you can try making your own pizza using beef from Endo Livestock’s Beloved Wagyu as well as cheese and vegetables from Shihoro Town. Enjoy your pizza for lunch while communicating with the farm staff and appreciating the lives of all the creatures we consume as food.
You can also order the Beloved Wagyu beef and have it delivered to you at a later date (separate fee required, delivery within Japan only).
