This tour takes you to the Lake Shikaribetsu Kotan, a village made of ice that appears on the surface of the frozen lake only during winter. You can see the ice village in the twilight of dusk, with the igloos and ice houses lit up to create a serene, mystical atmosphere. You can enjoy a free drink at an ice café, take a warm bath in an onsen or foot bath, and enjoy the other attractions offered in the village. Afterwards, you will enjoy a warm dinner at a local café.

At the Lake Shikaribetsu Kotan Ice Cafe, you can choose one drink from the extensive menu that includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as hot coffee and hot cocoa.

As an optional extra, you can also make your own drinking glass from a block of ice to enjoy your drink (separate fee required).

If you’re feeling cold, you can warm yourself up in the unique hot spring bath or foot bath of the ice village.

After a fun time in the ice and snow, you will visit a café in Shikaoi Town to enjoy a warm dinner made with locally-sourced ingredients.
