Naitai Highland Farm Snow Safari & Wagyu Glamping Tour

This premium private tour offers you exclusive access to the snow-covered Naitai Highland Farm, a place that is normally closed to the public in winter. You can enjoy one of the most popular scenic spots in Tokachi all to yourself.

The Naitai Highland Farm in Kamishihoro Town is the largest public ranch in Japan, with an area of around 1,700 hectares. In summer, it is a popular scenic spot where you can go on a relaxing drive from the entrance gate to the 800-meter high summit where you can enjoy views of the vast Tokachi plain and cows grazing on pastures. However, entry to the pastures by the public is prohibited, and the entrance gate is closed off entirely during winter, when the whole area gets covered in snow.

But this tour offers you exclusive access to the Naitai Highland Farm in winter. Together with a knowledgeable local guide, you will take a ride on a 4WD vehicle equipped with caterpillar tracks as it crawls its way along the arduous snow-covered slopes towards the farm’s summit point. From the car’s windows, you can see fields of snow stretching to the horizon, and you can hear just the sound of the engine as you enter a tranquil world of white.

At the summit, you will go on a snowshoe hike and a snowmobile ride in the midst of breathtaking winter scenery. After enjoying the snow activities, you will take a break at a specially-prepared glamping tent with a view overlooking the snowy Tokachi plain. Here you can savor a sumptuous meal made with Tokachi Naitai Wagyu beef and other finely-selected Tokachi ingredients. You can enjoy with some locally-produced liquors, such as Tokachi Wine from Ikeda Town and Japanese sake by the Hekiun Brewery of the Kamikawa Taisetsu Sake Brewery.
Note: Consumption of alcoholic beverages by persons under the age of 20 and driving under the influence of alcohol are prohibited by law.

The ultimate nature and culinary experience through exclusive access to 1,700 hectares of a winter wonderland awaits you.
