TOUR PROGRAMS

Suda Farm Vegetable Harvesting and Tasting

This tour takes you to Suda Farm, a crop farm with a history of over 60 years in Kamishihoro Town.  Take a tour of the farm, experience harvesting winter spinach, and savor some of their finest produce such as aged potatoes and sweet potatoes.

Suda Farm is operated by the brothers Yuki Suda and Kazumasa Suda. They are particular about the taste and quality of their crops, and they are known for producing delicious, high-quality vegetables that have been used by a Michelin-starred luxury restaurant in Tokyo.

After taking a tour of Suda Farm and learning about the vegetables they produce, you will experience harvesting winter spinach. Unlike regular spinach, winter spinach is grown during the cold winter which gives it more sweetness and less bitterness.

A visit to Suda Farm wouldn’t be complete without sampling their top-class vegetables. Besides the winter spinach, you can also try their aged Kitahime potatoes and sweet potatoes freshly-baked in an urn.
